Kelsey & Lane's Western Elegance Wedding

Some weddings feel straight out of a storybook. Others feel deeply personal, filled with meaningful moments that perfectly reflect the couple at the center of it all. For Kelsey and Lane, their wedding day was a beautiful blend of timeless elegance, heartfelt traditions, and a touch of western charm.

From a surprise first dance performance to a ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends, every detail reflected the love they share and the life they are building together.

A Love Worth Celebrating

When asked about her fiancé, Kelsey immediately describes him as her best friend. Their wedding day was a celebration of their relationship, their memories together, and everything still to come.

One thing Lane felt strongly about was keeping their first look traditional.

"He wanted the first time he saw me that day to be when I walked down the aisle."

His other must have turned into one of the most memorable moments of the entire day.

"Lane's biggest request was to break out into a surprise dance during our first dance. We worked with a choreographer and practiced for a few weeks. It ended up being one of the most fun moments of the day."

The Wedding Morning

Like many brides, Kelsey wanted her wedding morning to feel special, not only for herself but for everyone getting ready alongside her.

When it came time to choose getting ready outfits, she wanted pieces that felt beautiful, timeless, and wearable long after the wedding day.

"I chose Waverles because the styles were so unique, simple, and beautiful. I was able to pick pajamas for all the age groups getting ready with me. From patterns to solids to styles with feathers, there was something for everyone. I wanted my group to be able to wear the pajamas again and again."

For her own bridal look, Kelsey had a clear vision.

"I wanted to look timeless, elegant, and wear something that felt so bridal. I was looking for lace detail and found the most perfect robe."

The same approach carried into her beauty look.

"I wanted to look like myself, just a little more elevated. I usually wear my hair down or in a ponytail, and that is exactly what I did on my wedding day. I wore it down for the ceremony and switched to a party pony for dancing."

A Ceremony to Remember

Of all the moments from the day, the ceremony remains Kelsey's favorite memory.

"We got married while everyone was surrounding us. It felt so connected, unique, and present."

That feeling of togetherness became one of the defining elements of the celebration and a detail she still treasures today.

Western Elegance

When describing the aesthetic of the wedding, Kelsey summed it up perfectly.

"Western elegance."

The celebration featured touches of leather, wood, patterns, and cowboy inspired details while still feeling refined and timeless. Every element felt authentic to the couple and their style.

Wedding Must Haves

Every couple has a few non negotiables, and Kelsey and Lane were no exception.

"A lively band was a must. They kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end of the night."

And after hours of celebrating, there was one more essential.

"Late night food. You can never go wrong with chicken tenders and fries on the ride back to the hotel."

Guests were also treated to a Cane's food truck, which quickly became a crowd favorite.

Looking Back

If there is one piece of advice Kelsey would give future brides, it is simple.

"Be in the moment. Everyone says it goes by so quickly, and it truly does. Remember why you are there, to celebrate your love. Spend time with each other. The private moments Lane and I shared were some of my favorite memories of the day."

Those quiet moments, combined with all the excitement and celebration, are what made the day unforgettable.
